005 Nano Tech Launches New Thermal Insulation and Anti-Corrosion Nano-Coating to Reduce Air Conditioning Energy Consumption

August 20, 2024, Rongchang District, Chongqing— 00 Five (Chongqing) Nano Technology Co., Ltd. has recently completed a successful trial demonstrating the remarkable thermal insulation capabilities of its newly developed thermal insulation and anti-corrosion nano-coating. This super white coating is primarily applied to building roofs and exterior walls, significantly lowering indoor temperatures during the summer, thereby reducing air conditioning energy consumption and electricity costs.

During the trial, the team measured the temperature of ordinary white color steel tiles, as well as tiles and glass coated with 005’s nano-coating. The results showed that while the surface temperature of ordinary white color steel tiles reached 49°C, the tiles and glass treated with the nano-coating only measured 40°C—a difference of 9 to 10°C. This significant temperature reduction translates into a noticeable difference in indoor comfort, greatly reducing the need for air conditioning and the associated energy costs.
